Translations – Editorial Work – Research
The emphasis of my work is translation into German. When translating into a foreign language, I collaborate with colleagues who are native speakers in order to ensure the highest quality in style. Upon request, I can also edit texts or carry out research on terminology specific to certain subjects.
I focus on texts from the following subject areas:
- business administration
- medicine/pharmacy
- food
- tourism
- administration
If you need advice with regard to other subject areas or languages, do not hesitate to ask.
Thorough research and quality management are fundamental components of my work. Equally important to me are an awareness of the target audience, compliance with text type conventions and inclusion of reference material. In order to ensure the highest possible consistency in terminology, I use the translation memory systems SDL Trados and Across.
I take reliability, confidentiality and punctuality to be the natural basis of any successful work relationship. My services are geared toward the international standard ISO 1700:2015 for translation services.
